Ramblin’s Care Home for Wayward FoMoCo Youth & Elders - I’m putting it on my stationary.
More seriously, is the point at which I go all Business Cat “I should buy an Edsel” a sign I should be the one in a home?

Also, the reason for “childrens” is that I’m semi-misquoting a Strong Bad line.

I probably would, but I’m rational to a fault.
Bizzarro SSFancyFresh has ALL OF THE TT’s.
All of them.
Alas, I have not one.

Only the most sane desire an Edsel. Everyone else should be in a home.

Yeah. I’d say that I’m in TT timeout. I had one. Then I had babies. I’ll have one (or more) again. Probably soonish.
The rational side of me is fighting those demons and I sense a weakening of the all powerful sensibility. Not too worried about it.

6 cars at my house, one of them isn’t even mine. I live alone.

“It seemed to me,’ said Wonko the Sane, ‘that any civilization that had so far lost its head as to need to include a set of detailed instructions for use in a package of toothpicks, was no longer a civilization in which I could live and stay sane.”
(quote from So Long and Thanks For All The Fish - in it, Wonko has built “an asylum for the world” which is a house in which he can live and declare everything outside to be “in the asylum”.)

I too, see my vehicles as children. Use to think I could save them all, but now I’ve picked a favorite, and am currently in the process of dressing the others up real nice and dumping them on the orphanage stoop.

Guilty, Ramblin and I are sort of kindred spirits there . Although in my defense, two of them were free and one is a family heirloom. And one is a taken apart Subaru that’s going away. And one of the free cars is just an engine to me, it’ll go away too. It used to be worse, 5 vehicles is historically low for me. I will be extremely happy to reduce that number, hopefully this year.

I’ve cut back tremendously over the last few years and am actually thinking on cutting down even further to only have 2 vehicles in my driveway.
There was however one point when I had 4 second gen minivans, 3 EE body cars, 2 Lebaron verts, and an F250 in my driveway..... ( yes that is 10 vehicles for 2 drivers )

I guess. Also, all the cars I have are black, which seems to be the only thing that the neighbors asked about. I replied that it’s just coincidental, which is true.

Some people end up with “free” kids, too. =)
Wish our family heirloom was still in the family.

My dad’s 356 B Super 90 - sold long before I was born, after my oldest brother came around.
I’ve tried to get a VIN from him to see if it’s a survivor , but he hasn’t been able to track it down.

TR6 is pretty much foster care as it’s owner no longer really cares about it. I keep it dry and drive it as much as I can which isn’t enough.
85 Jaguar is adopted. Bought on a whim for fun and has proved reliable enough to be my part time fair weather DD.
Also 2013 MINI and 2016 V60.
All are loved, each in their own way.

Ah, I remember the mention of that now. May not be hard to find if you had the VIN, the 356 Registry is large and active. Had a lovely ‘63 S90 in this week, actually! Black over green, very cool .

Hopefully he can find it one day, but I’m afraid that paperwork may have not made it from their old house in Missouri to their new apartment in Austin. His was white over red, bought used in Germany in the ‘
60s
, and shipped back to the States when he returned from his studies there. I always wonder what part that car might have had in helping him win my mom’s hand... It definitely helped him show her that he liked to have fun!
